She is not only an incredible wedding planner, but she also did both my Boudoir photography (highly recommend it as a little something for the groom!) as well as our wedding photos. Between all the planning, arranging, and photographing, she did a mind blowing job and so effortlessly! Excellent quality photography was one of the most important things to me, Our wedding photos are just breathtaking and I show them off to friends and family with great pride! I can't say enough good things about Dawn and the Romance Specialists. They took our dream and turned it into a reality right before our eyes. Choosing someone to plan your wedding is difficult enough locally; however, choosing one for a destination wedding where you have to rely on someone you haven’t met face to face is pretty scary. Vlad and I did a lot of research prior to choosing Dawn and The Romance Specialists. We started checking 7-8 months in advance researching many sites. We discarded many, started with around 17 and eventually down to 2. After a couple of phone calls and emails back and forth with Dawn Nash, there was NO doubt, The Romance Specialists was the one. Dawn has been the best blessing. I know I had so many questions and the wedding was still a ways off but Dawn was ALWAYS there responding to all of them, being very patient and really helping us work through to make sure we got the wedding we were looking for. It is obvious that Dawn is in the right chosen profession, we could not have asked for a better planner. Working with someone long distance, you want someone that is a good communicator, responsive and knows their business. That is exactly what we received with Dawn. The wedding day ended up being beautiful. Providing us with Pastor Jofrey to officiate, we could not have chosen a better person. The entire group talked about him. The cake was soooo good, we wish we had a second. The photographers did great (and yes I was worried). We decided to have a ukulele player and he blended in so well it felt like the music was there. Introducing us to Auntie Pat at Paradise Cove who would oversee the location, she is a character and a pleasure to meet. However, none of this would have been the same without Dawn and The Romance Specialists. They obviously have a great group of vendors they work with. Our wedding was a very special day.

My husband and I were hoping for a stress-free, casual, and simple wedding. Dawn and her team at The Romance Specialists delivered on all counts! We went with the "Simply Us" package and it was everything we could have hoped for. Our sunset wedding at Papialoa Beach on Oahu was perfect! Planning a wedding from a distance could have been stressful, but Dawn's recommendations and suggestions made the whole thing very easy. From the location of the wedding to detailed information about obtaining the marriage license to places to get my flowers, The Romance Specialists really helped us every step of the way. The ceremony with Pastor Jofrey Rabanal was exactly what we were hoping for and Dawn's photographs turned out wonderfully. We would not hesitate to recommend Dawn and The Romance Specialists to anyone looking for a beautiful and worry-free wedding in Oahu!

The Romance Specialists did a fantastic job planning our wedding, we flew from Alaska to get married on the beach and had a beautiful sunset wedding all thanks to Dawn and her wonderful vendors. We recently were married in Hawaii by The Romance Specialists! At first looking for the right people to do the wedding was very difficult. We looked through many of the organizations that conducted the ceremony but many didn't provide what we wanted. We wanted a small wedding at a secluded beach. The team at The Romance Specialists were so helpful pointing out great locations and package deals that they had that we would benefit the most from. We didn't want to get too much and not take advantage of some of the things most packages came with. We were able to pick a package and personalize it to what we wanted. We had so many questions about how everything was going to work and each time we called they were able to help us then, or give us a call back quick! Dawn and the rest of her team were so helpful we couldn't be more thankful for how easy they made if for us. Dawn was a great photographer and had many great ideas for pictures with great shots of waves crashing behind us! They were great!!! Thank you so much!

Dawn and her team were absolutely fabulous. We were both nervous about having a wedding afar and she made it so easy. We didn't have to do anything. And the day of, she took her time to get some awesome shots of us together and made sure we had fun. She even asked us what kind of couple we were. EX: Silly, romantic, serious. Our wedding planning experience with Dawn and her staff went as smooth as you can possibly imagine. In planning our wedding from a far distance, we were quite nervous as to how the entire process would work, but after speaking with Dawn, our minds were put at ease. From start to finish Dawn and her team at The Romance Specialists were wonderful. They are honest and gave me many great recommendations and I'm so glad I went with them. The best one being the location of the ceremony. We were married on Waimanalo Beach, on the windward side of the island. It was gorgeous--I have never seen water that turquoise color before! Before the wedding they were always available by phone and email. Every detail was covered and taken care of. I kept thinking to myself, 'I should have more to do.' But they took care of everything. On the day of the wedding Dawn was fantastic--directing my guests, coordinating the wedding party and taking care of those small details that the bride doesn't have time to think of, let alone do. Even my guests had great things to say. The photographer she hired was excellent, very fun. And the officiant was top notch. Dawn knows her stuff, especially when it comes to Oahu. I would recommend The Romance Specialists to any bride... and if you do, I promise you don't have to worry. Just like their motto says just relax and enjoy Hawaii.

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with the Romance Specialists for our beach wedding in Oahu on this past September. Dawn was our photographer. The way she knew how to direct everyone to stand in a way so that we could all look pretty and perfect showed how much she cared and how professional she was. Dawn and her team were excellent-Farah, Joffery (officiant), and her photog assistant on the day of the wedding on Waialae beach! I was at first hesitant with planning a destination wedding but after a phone conversation and a plane ride to meet with Dawn, we knew we were heading in the ride directions. Though we played many phone tags along the way (time zone differences), she was always patient in returning my calls and emails. Even on her vacation, she went out of her way to touch base with me. She guided me step by step with the planning process and was quick to make any adjustments needed. My ceremony site was intended for 25 people but at the end it doubled in size. Dawn made it work with a couple of suggestions. I had a mini meltdown towards the end but Dawn was so sweet and sent a cute "whimsical" and thoughtful gift through the mail. The day of the wedding turned out fantastic...though it was a blur to me. I was wrapped up in my emotions (happiness) Everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable time at the wedding. My husband and I are incredibly grateful we choose The Romance Specialist (package: Simply US) over any other company. We spent over a month researching different websites, calling and asking questions, and asking friends and family what company I should go with. Since it was a destination wedding, it's hard to chose someone that is through a website or a phone conversation. Dawn Nash and her team at TRS answered every question we had and even provided information that we didn't even think of. We were very comfortable with everything she had to say and trusted her judgement. We discussed the elements we were looking for and Dawn suggested we go with a different package considering the circumstance of us having family on the Island. Right there was the selling point. She wasn't trying to up sell us and truly didn't want us to spend the extra money on things that our family could for less. We planned our small destination wedding from Maryland and opted for a simple ceremony with no frills (but a gorgeous beach setting). Dawn made me feel like our wedding was just as important as any bigger one. The hair and make-up artist Tania de Jesus and Pastor Jofrey were both wonderful. The Romance Specialists made planning our wedding in Hawaii EASY!!! Honestly, Dawn did so much work for us, planning the entire event was a breeze. We really couldn't be more pleased. They contract with other vendors in Hawaii, so all we had to do was tell Dawn what we wanted and what color, and it was taken care of. Our package included EVERYTHING. Hair, makeup, limo service, our choice of venue, flowers, officiant, champagne, photography and videography...the list just keeps on going. The cost of the entire wedding was significantly less that we would have paid for a traditional wedding at home. I will admit that I was a little bit worried the day before the wedding, because I hadn't had a chance to meet any of the vendors or see the flowers and such, but those fears were soon put at ease when one by one, I got a phone call from every person who contributed to our wedding. Then, on the wedding day, we couldn't have been more pleased with the professionalism and obvious passion that these people have for what they do. The decision that we made to ditch the expensive country club wedding here in Washington state and opt instead for the gorgeous beach wedding instead is the best decision we have ever made. I can't say enough for The Romance Specialists. I will recommend this company wholeheartedly to anybody who is planning a destination wedding. If you are looking for a company who will literally just take care of everything so that you can relax and get married, this is the only way to go.
