A Paradise Dream Wedding

I loved my Paradise Dream Wedding. Everything went according to plan and I felt calm and relaxed throughout the whole process. This company was very nice as you are able to chose which items you would like to add to your wedding without coordinating fees (except if you chose for them to host your reception too). The photographers that are apart of this company are simply amazing. We also really liked how our videographer was able to post a webcast video for our family who could not make it out to Hawaii. If you use this company, be sure to have open communication with your wedding coordinator. They are very helpful! I would highly recommend using a Paradise Dream Wedding!

A Paradise Dream Wedding took care of my wedding on March 23, 2012 at Mekena Cove. It was absolutely perfect!! Jayanne was our wedding coordinator and did a fantastic job at planning everything & made it very stress-free, even though we were planning our wedding from 3000 miles away! Ian was our photographer and he was a pleasure to work with as well...his knowledge of the area, landscape, lighting, water, angles etc, made me feel at ease and very confident that he was going to get some some amazing shots! Laki was our minister and was full of personality & charisma! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day. It can be very unnerving planning a wedding from so far away (we are from Vancouver, Canada), esp since we had never even been to Maui before & there are soooo many wedding planning/photographers to choose from, how do you know which ones are great and which aren't? That being said, I HIGHLY recommend this company and their photographers. They are a pleasure to work with, very professional and made my day magical. Better than I ever dreamed of! :)

One word to describe you guys - AMAZING!!! We married bright and early on a Thursday April 21, 2011. The day could not have been more relaxed and beautiful. Upon entering the ceremony site at Makena Cove, our breath was taken away. The sound of the waves crashing against the lava shore, the smell and feel of the morning air and that moment of knowing that we were marrying the one for us, could not have started our day any better. APDW made this happen! To this day we still talk about how easy and stress free our wedding was. Jo THURMAN, our coordinator, was truly the best! Her attention to detail made our wedding dreams come true. She was very quick at responding to our multiple e-mails and on the wedding day nothing was missed! A great photographer was on the top of our list for wedding must haves. Our photographer Arien SHERMAN did not disappoint. He blew us out of the water with his work. We knew from the looking at his previous weddings he was going to be great, but we never thought our pictures would turn out as amazing as they did. Arien managed to capture a perfect picture of every little detail that was important to us. Della Peacock was our florist. Her talent is beyond amazing! The flowers were so fresh, it was as if she picked them that morning. She definitely surpassed my highest expectations! Vance Rosete was our minister. We were so glad we had chosen him to marry us. His kind words and easy going personality made the ceremony that much better. Brian from YourWebcast was our videographer. He captured every detail without us even knowing that he was there. We also loved that family and friends who could not make it were able to watch the video online only a few hours after the ceremony. Maui Wedding Cakes made our cake. The cake was flawless, beautiful and delicious! Andrea Duarte was my hair/make up/nail stylist She was incredible! Andrea went above and beyond! She was able to take my vision and create the hair and make-up I wanted. She was also hilarious and so easy to talk to. It was as if you knew her for years! Overall I would definitely recommend APDW to anyone getting married on Maui. They do not disappoint. I cannot think of one bad thing to say :)

Our wedding was everything we wanted it to be, and more! The house at Olowalu was amazing, and we even had whales jumping in the background the entire day! Priceless!There could not have been a better background for our pictures. Jo our co-ordinator was brilliant, she remembered so many things I would have forgotten about and helped us down to the last second before the ceremony, and after too. We can not thank her enough. We had Ian as our photographer and the photos are amazing, and he was so great and easy to work with, really funny and had great ideas and we love how the photos have come out, we cant wait to get some printed out into frames. Our videographer and assistant were also great, we are so glad we paid the extra to get an edited video of the day, it was well worth it and it was delivered so fast we could watch it whilst we were still in Maui! Kimo our minister was also great, a really nice funny guy who was perfect for us. Andrea did my hair, and I was more than pleased, it has never looked so good, she did exactly what I wanted but even better! I would recommend her to anyone. Tiffany who did the catering was so good, all of our guests could not stop talking about the food for days afterwards and some even got the coconut shrimp recipe off her to make at home! We have had several guests mention that they found our wedding to be a really fun day, and said they had only seen ones like that in movies before! And when your guests have come half way around the world for your wedding it is really important they have a good time too, so that worked definitely worked out! So I would recommend using A Paradise Dream Wedding to anyone getting married in Maui!

We were very impressed with the services we received from A Paradise Dream Wedding. They took care of everything leading up to the wedding so we didn't feel stressed about anything. The week of the wedding we found out that the weather forecast for our special day was rainstorm. Jayanne was more than helpful in finding a backup site in case it did rain. They also offered us the possibility of having our ceremony and/or the couple photos taken another day. We can't emphasize enough how flexible Ian and Jayanne were. Fortunately the downpour didn't start until the evening and our wedding was in the morning, so it all worked out fine. However, we felt like we were in good hands, so had it rained we were confident that everything would have been taken care of. This allowed us to relax and enjoy ourselves. Before the ceremony, Cherie Sequeira (Maya's hair and makeup artist) got up at an obscene hour to get to our hotel in time to do Maya's hair and makeup. She exceeded all expectations. Maya's hair and makeup looked amazing and stayed in place from the morning ceremony to the evening reception, which went on until passed midnight. Our on-site coordinator (Shena) made sure that everything went smoothly on the big day. The officiant (Dennis) performed a very relaxed and friendly non-religious Hawaiian ceremony, just like we wanted. Our photographer, Ian Shepherd, was very friendly and professional. He made us feel relaxed and comfortable during the photo shoot, and consulted us regarding our preference in the type of photos and the setting. He wanted to make sure we went home with photos we were happy with. The photos looked beautiful, we were very impressed. Everyone we dealt with at A Paradise Dream Wedding made the whole event very easy and stress free. We are very happy with them and would definitely recommend their services to anyone!

Let me just say that Maui Wedding/Paradise Dream Wedding is the way to go! It's been a month since my wedding on Makena Cove and all I can remember was what a perfect day it was...it was the best day of my life! Maui Weddings made that happen. My husband and I decided to ditch the traditional wedding and stress that came a long with it. We found Maui Weddings while searching the internet and every phone call/email was efficient, professional, polite and very welcoming. Jo: She helped set up the dates, and photographer--wonderful! Thank you! Jayanne: Our coordinator-- She was amazing as well, from setting up our marriage license appointment to making sure we had a welcome message the second we landed in Hawaii and everything in between--she is also amazing! Ian Shepherd: Words can not express how talented this man is with his photography. He captured every important moment, and those we would have never thought of. The angles of his shots, form wide angle to up close, it really looks like we were photo shopped into paradise(pure compliment--stunning pictures) Ian has an eye for stunning and fun/unconventional shots. From looking at his previous albums I had high expectations and he blew them away. His shots are so incredible they don't need any touch ups. I still cry when I see the photos and I show them off to everyone because he is amazing--and I'm not a fan of others seeing me in pictures. If you want the best photographer Ian is your man. (However with such a great company as A Paradise Dream Wedding, any of your photographers will be amazing) Reverend Dennis De Rogo: Our (obviously) wedding officiant. We didn't know Rev. De Rogo before our wedding, but this man is so passionate about his work it was like he knew us our entire lives. He spoke beautifully and we felt his love for what he does, and for marriage itself. He is a wonderful man and blowing the conche shell was just the cherry on top. The Conche shell is one Hawaiian tradition as is the Lei exchange--both very special and highly recommended! Sheena was our on-site coordinator: She too was wonderful! Helped everyone get set up, kept with time and also continued to ensure that this wedding was a stress free and beautiful as it possibly could have. Each wonderful person that worked with us through our wedding day has a very special place in our heart and we plan on keeping in touch because it was A Paradise Dream Wedding that made Feb 26, 2011 the most beautiful, and happiest day of my life. I recommend these wonderful people to anyone wanting their day to be perfect, because through them, it will be and the memories will last forever.

25th Vow renewal on October 24, 2010 Friend from work recommended Paradise Dream Wedding Joanne was extremely helpful planning our 25th vow renewal The Cove is one of the most beautiful site for a wedding, Planning our 25th vow renewal in Maui could not have been easier with the help of Paradise Dream Wedding Joanne was our coordinator and she answered every question throughout and quickly. Everything was above and beyond our expections, our minister Vance was so warm and he made us so comfortable. The ceremony was so personal and special, guitarist Tim was great!!! Eric the photographer was also very nice and did a fantastic job... Mahola! P.S. Everyone deserves a 10 plus...

When we starting looking at a destination wedding, I had my concerns as to how well everything would go with planning from so far away. But everything went so smooth and our wedding was perfect (even including the few rain showers on the beach). Joanne, Dennis and Ian were all very professional and extremely friendly. It made our day even better having such nice people as a part of it. And our extreme thanks to Ian for the amazing photos! You would never know by the pictures that it was raining off and on and we were even soaked at one point. His angles and composition were fantastic and I have received countless compliments on how gorgeous they are. (He even let my husband use his sunglasses, after he forgot them at the hotel, so that he wasn't squinting in all of the ceremony photos.) Thank you again!! You all made our wedding exactly what we hoped for.

Paradise Weddings was AMAZING! Every detail was perfect from calling their helpful staff to select a wedding date, location, and time down to the very last second of our photo shoot. We were married on The Cove beach, which couldn't have been more perfect. Gordon and his assistant Ian were first class photographers and every time we look at our photos we can't believe we were actually married in such an amazing place. Our wedding day was one of the most memorable days of our lives and we could not be happier with A Paradise Dream Wedding for helping shape our perfect wedding. The coordination from the get-go was great, by both phone and email, our Coordinator Joanne Earles was fabulous and so patient with all our requests. She really went the extra step to allow us to include all the details important to us within our wedding, as well as meeting with us the day before to review it all- as per our request. We were drawn to APDW by the photography on the web site and it does hold true to the end result- Ian Shepherd, our photographer, was beyond amazing!!! He truly captured our day as we had imagined and he went above and beyond for our wedding. His emails were so attentive and genuine, and his amazing work proves why he is a part of such a talented group. He took his time shooting our requested shots and had awesome follow up communication. Kimo Kirkman was our minister and we truly believe no one else was meant to perform our wedding. His genuine words and calming voice set for a perfect ceremony! Tim O'Hara, our guitarist was just right! Jean Muldoon did awesome on hair and makeup- she was wide awake at 6 AM and ready to go, she executed the look I requested even better than the inspiration photos I provided to her- just fabulous! The flower bouquets requested were right on, and the petal aisle and reception decor by Della Peacock were amazing! She was such a shining angel in the mist of flower planning frustration and her gorgeous table arrangements surpassed my highest expectations- I smiled inside when our day had finally arrived and all my "interior designer obsessive decor" nerves were calmed by the beautiful table Della had set! Our day was so special to us, not only for our personal commitments and having had such a perfect wedding, but because of the people who helped make it happen. We'll always remember "our Maui spot" and all the individuals above who were a part in our very memorable day. THANKS APDW!!!!!!

Every thing was wonderful! A paradise Dream Wedding really has the combination of great service, experienced and lovely professionals and affordable value. As students, my husband and I didn't think we could afford to get married in Maui and wanted to so badly since his parents and sister had their weddings there. A Paradise Dream Weddings had affordable photography packages as well as provided excellent service prior and at the wedding that made everything so easy. The wedding planner had everything planned out to the T as well as a backup plan if we encountered a storm while we were there. I would highly reccomend them to anyone on any budget that is looking for great value and amazing service!

Our photographer was Arien, and he was great! We were 15 minutes late due to a late vendor (flowers, grr!), but he stayed an extra 20 minutes to ensure we had all of the photos we needed. Also, he called before we got there, to let us know he was there (10 minutes early). The fees were a little pricey, but we figured if you were going to splurge on anything in a Hawaii wedding, it would be the photographer. He certainly did not disappoint. The pictures looked like the ones on the website - I couldn't believe it! We are very happy with the way the pictures turned out - Arien was well worth the fee!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience. Everything went perfectly and we could'nt be happier with the way our wedding turned out. There was great communication with our coordinator Jo. Its sometimes difficult to put your trust in someone you never met who is thousands of miles away, but she was very professional & planned everything perfectly for us. Our minister Tino was so sweet and took the extra time to go over the details with us before the ceremony. Branden took our photos... and boy were we blown away! Amazing photography!! Ian took our photos and we could not be happier with the results. He was very nice during the wedding. He was professional but also was laid back and helped us to be relaxed during the shoot.

We have received amazing comments on our wedding, mostly that it couldn't have gone better. It is a risk to plan something so important from a distance but everything went smoothly and we didn't have to stress at all. I know we made the right decision using A Paradise Dream Wedding. This wedding company is amazing. My husband and I planned our entire wedding remotely and didn't know where to start. They took care of all the details and when we arrived, we were able to relax and really enjoy the day. Everything was better than we imagined. The overall experience was FANTASTIC. Getting married on the shores of South Maluaka beach was an incredibly memorable moment and I for one, am glad that we chose to tie the knot in Maui. Our photographer and videographer were both cheery and professional, though we would have liked to have received the photos a bit sooner, it is understandable with the workload that Eric has to deal with. It was a breath-taking experience we will both remember for a lifetime. Thank you very much for helping us achieve such precious moments to start our life together!
