Maui Wedding DJ

I can't say enough good things about Del Sol! He went above and beyond his job at our wedding. One of the things that stands out in my mind that day is when he walked me down a very steep hill to get to the altar at our wedding spot. He took his time, helped me with my dress, talked to me in such a calm manner...it really made my fears and anxiety melt away! It was truly one of the sweetest moments that entire evening! Besides that, he was an AWESOME DJ! He spoke at the right times, said the right things and played the perfect music! Hands down one of the most impressive vendors and professionals I've ever dealt with! I recommend him 110%. You won't be disappointed.

Dj Del was really great at our wedding. From our very first call with him to review his wedding questionnaire, he provided a lot of ideas for us to work with. He was really easy to speak with, and was able to put together a set (and accommodate a bunch of requests the day-of) that fit everyone's musical tastes. DJ Del Sol could not have been more profressional, prepared, and willing to make our wedding reception be everything we had hoped for and more! He completely understood the type of atmosphere we wanted for our wedding guests and made it happen. EVERYONE was dancing all night long (until they kicked us out!)! He contacted me before the wedding and offered up some great suggestions. On the day of, Del arrived looking super fresh and ready to help in any way! All I can say, is that if you talk with Del and he has your event date open, BOOK HIM! you'll be HAPPY you did! I would recommend Del to ANYONE who wants an awesome DJ at their event :)

Felipe (aka DJ DelSol) is one of the coolest DJ I have ever met. He was very fun to work with and very professional. I had special requests and he was so accommodating. Our wedding was a small outdoor wedding reception and we a blast for the entire night. There was not a dull moment. He even join us on the dance floor and show us some moves! As a bride planning a destination wedding and never met any vendors in person until we got to Maui days before the wedding, it can be very scary. Having the right DJ really makes such a difference. I am so glad that we found Felipe. He made our night so fun and memorable. All of our guests had a great time and complimented on what a great DJ we got.

First things first, Del was awesome!!! He was very professional and responsive during the entire process. Planning a wedding/reception from the mainland can be daunting, but he made taking care of the music easy. He was by far the easiest vendor to work with and even made an hour drive on his own just to meet with us in person beforehand to finalize the plans. He really listened to us and he laid it down exactly how we wanted. He had everyone dancing and it was a total blast. Music really determines the party so do yourself a favor and go with him...you wont be disappointed.

DJ Del Sol was awesome!!! We only had a coordinator for the ceremony so he was pretty much our coordinator/MC at our reception. He is the best. We met with him twice before the ceremony because my husband wanted to make sure our playlist is perfect and although we only gave him a few of the songs that we wanted him to play, he extended that playlist based on the songs we gave him. I also called him a week before the wedding to mix the two songs for our first dance and he did that promptly for us. He is amazing and I would recommend him to every bride or to any occasion that a DJ would be needed. Our reception was fun!!! WE danced all night!!!

DJ del Sol was really great to work with. Trying to organize our wedding in Maui from Montreal was quite a complicated task. However, working with DJ del Sol leading up to the wedding was a breeze. He was always quick to respond to my emails, texts and phone calls. He is professional, incredibly organized and a lot of fun. Our wedding ceremony (outdoors) and reception were both held at the same location. He did the sound and music for both, including the cocktail reception in between. Everything went smoothly, thanks to DJ del Sol. He is a little pricey, but definitely worth it. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants a fun, stress free wedding in Maui.

We Hired Dj Del Sol for our wedding in June, and we couldn't have asked for a better DJ! Very professional, friendly, and definitely entertaining. We gave him a pretty extensive song list and he played every single song on there, which meant a lot because some songs were very sentimental to us. He even let our son Emcee for a bit which was one of the highlights of the night. I absolutely recommend DJ Del Sol for your special day!

We hired DJ Del Sol for our Maui Wedding this year and were happy with the ceremony! DJ Del Sol was happy to meet us via web conference early in our DJ search and right away we liked his approach, his DJ style, and the fact that a day or two after we emailed him we had a time set up and he was happy to answer all of our questions and we never felt rushed. One thing that impressed us was how he planned for equipment failures (though none happened). He wanted to make sure the reception was perfect so he suggested an in-person meeting in Maui a few days before, which we thought was great and it was nice to run through all the last issues. The reception itself was a blast and even though we had a small wedding of a little over 30 friends and family DJ Del Sol had us dancing the whole night - and he covered all of the songs we really wanted to hear and still made room for requests. His style is great for a wedding reception in which one song just goes into the next with a great flow and all of our friends and family. His MCing of the reception was professional and he was able to adjust to any last minute changes without breaking a sweat and the cocktail hour and dinner music had everyone in high spirits! All in all the night went way too fast and we look back on the entire events of our Wedding day with the fondest of memories and Del Sol was one of the key figures to help make that happen.

We actually had Del Sol's partner Evan (DJ Decka) DJ our wedding a few weeks ago at Olowalu Plantation House. Evan was amazing. He came early to set up and I believe he even started playing a bit earlier than agreed upon when the musician took off early. He played a good mix before and during dinner, and kept the dance floor full the entire night, with both young and older guests. I believe he played most of the songs on our request list, and he was very open to taking requests that day. Evan contacted us a few days before the wedding to see if we could meet in person. This meeting was really helpful, as we got to know his style, and he got to know us better as well. We gave him our list of requested songs, and he had some suggestions for our first dance song, one of which we ended up choosing. We also told him about the demographics of our guests, and he played a perfect mix for everyone. The only minor complaint I have about Del Sol is that he double booked us. We had told him our date and were in the stage of sending the contract back when we found out had already booked someone else on our date. It turned out OK, though, because we got Evan, who rocked. To his credit, I had contacted Del Sol many months ago to inquire about his services, and he did follow up very closely with me for a long while, asking if I had any further questions, even as I continued to say "no, we're still thinking about it." In addition, he made sure we weren't left high and dry by setting us up with Evan. So, overall, Evan was fabulous, and I had just one minor issue with Del Sol.

Del Sol played at our wedding on St.Paddy's day this year - and he was wonderful. The prior meetings were greatly appreciated and truly helped set the tone for our wedding, both through skype and in person. He did a great job introducing our speeches and keeping the program going. And of course, the music was fantastic. Everyone had such a great time dancing the night away!!!!! I would HIGHLY recommend Dj Del Sol for any bride and groom looking for a DJ to their special day ;)

Del played at our wedding at the Hotel Wailea this November and he did an amazing job! He was extremely professional and easy to work with - responded quickly prior to the wedding and checked in with me before-hand which I really appreciated. The music was perfect from cocktail hour through dinner to dancing and appropriate for all the guests. He kept everyone dancing and did a great job introducing the speeches, etc. I absolutely recommend him to anyone needing a great professional DJ for their next event.

We had the pleasure of having Del DJ for our wedding at The Olowalu Plantation in Maui on Nov. 4 2010. From our first conversation over the phone he was extremely easy to talk to and picked up on exactly what I wanted for our music selection. He did a great job incorporating everyones preference for music and kept our reception going smoothly the entire night with him being MC as well. Any music requests that were given to him, he was sure to deliver immediately! Del went over and beyond by creating a mix for our at home reception. I would absolutely recommend Del for anyone looking for a DJ. He truly did make our night that much more magical!

Del was absolutely fantastic! We talked ahead of time and we were on the same wavelength from the first minute. We're definitely fans of electronic music but wanted to mix it up, play some diverse stuff and make sure that the older generation got some nods on the playlist too. Del hit all the categories perfectly. He knew exactly what to play during the dinner portion and afterwards really was able to segue into the dancing portion well without any of that silly "Radio DJ Voice" nonsense. Honestly, Del was a great guy, and a true DJ – someone who loves the art and craft of being a DJ. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone doing a wedding on Maui.
