We rented a home for our wedding (with 15 family members) and had MRD provide tables, chairs, linens, flowers, etc. I will start by saying that the setup was beautiful, but the colors of all the flowers and chiffon were not the same as the samples I had sent. After months of emails and phone calls, I would have expected that they would have told me if they could not match the colors. It didnt matter to me what type of flowers were used as long as they got the colors right. Although all of the arrangements and bouquet were beautiful, they were not the colors I was expecting and requested. He just said, sure no problem, we can do those colors. My advise - ask him to send you photos of the colors/flowers they will use. Caesy was rude and condescending on the phone and provided short, snippy answers by email. They were very expesinve compared to the mainland, but know that they can charge way more becuase its a small island with only a few vendors (compared to Oahu or Maui). They also charged about $150 extra to bring the tables (3) and chairs (17) the day of the wedding (said it would have been waived if they could set up the day before). They did a lot of nickle and diming. It was a pain to work with Casey. I might recommend them if there was someone else to work with, but since he is an owner, it is unlikely.

Aloha, We feel so honored and privileged to have the opportunity to write this review and recommendation for MartinRoberts Design, specifically for Casey Sparks. It was such a wonderful experience working with Casey throughout the planning of our June 2011 wedding in Princeville, Kauai. We live on Oahu and only had one opportunity to meet with Casey in person prior to our big day, and we corresponded via email for all remaining decisions in the months leading up to our wedding. Casey provided everything we asked for and envisioned - plus much more. My only regret is not having him contribute more. Casey really has a talent for transforming a space through his eye for floral and event design. If you are getting married on Kauai, MartinRoberts Design is the way to go! Since our wedding, we have received countless compliments from family and friends (both those who attended and those who could not make the journey) and everyone loves the flowers. We have also been fortunate to share our special day with others planning their wedding through media features in Spur Japan Magazine, Grace Ormonde Magazine, Mississippi Magazine Wedding Register and recently on in the Modern Hawaii Weddings web blog. I contracted this vender through phone and emails having never been able to meet them in person. They listened to my ideas about what colors I wanted for my flowers and created bouquets, centerpieces, and other creative decor that I could never have imagined or anticipated! They were a pleasure to work with, had reasonable prices and created floral arrangements that were beautiful, memorable, and set the tone for my incredible tropical wedding.

Casey at Martin roberts did a great job with my flowers. They were very flexible in providing what I wanted and the arrangements were fresh and beautiful. They even included extra orchids for the wedding cake that were georgous! They had no problems producung exactly what I wanted without seeing me in person!

In a word: WOW! The whole team at Martin Roberts in Kauai did a fabulous job on my centerpieces and cake flowers (bouquet was arranged through my planner). I wish they did wedding planning because they were the most professional vendor I dealt with for my destination wedding in Kauai. Several vendors that I approached or booked were incredibly flaky, which was very stressful for a bride trying to arrange a wedding thousands of miles away. But Casey and the staff at Martin Roberts always responded in a quick, friendly and organized manner. They allowed me to provide my own containers for the flowers (sand pails for the beach theme), which I believe saved me some money. And they were open to the ideas I had for my centerpieces and, unlike some other prospective vendors, didn't make snarky comments when I mentioned the general amount of money I wanted to spend. The centerpieces were gorgeous -- vivid colors that matched my vision exactly, beautifully arranged and abundant flowers in each arrangement. Eight days later, I actually teared up when we went to Maui and had to leave our gorgeous flowers behind (which still looked great by the way). Mahalo to Casey and the gang!

Casey Sparks is fantastic to work with! You can't find a more imaginitive and creative florist to make your vision come to life. Every flower, candle, detail, etc. was perfection. I highly recommend this florist to decorate your dream wedding in Hawaii!

Casey at Martin Robert's handled my correspondence from California as we planned our Kauai wedding. Loved all the work and the way he was able to make our budget and my ideas work for a great outdoor reception!

We booked MartinRoberts floral through our planner. We gave her a budget and they were able to meet it perfectly. The ceremony floral was green and white and simple, just as I had wanted. We reused the floral there for our cocktail reception. The dinner reception was where I really wanted to focus as people would be spending more time there. It was absolutely romantic and perfect. The centerpieces used large nautilus shells as holders for the flowers and they lit all the tables up with lots and lots of candles. It was completely romantic and elegant and relaxing. They did a perfect job for the price I named and I could not be happier.

After checking out the MartinRobertÂ’s floral gallery, I was so impressed with their creations that I didnÂ’t have to search anywhere else for our wedding florists. As a bride the decision almost felt like the same as when I found my wedding gown. You just know itÂ’s the one! I fell in love instantly. Working with Casey was such a blast! I gave him our color scheme for the event and trusted every idea he proposed. All of the floral creations looked amazing even better than I could have imagined them to be and more. I canÂ’t thank them enough for making our special day the most memorable one to come. Thank you Casey =]

Casey of Martin Roberts is a real professional. Both he and his staff were extremely responsive, professional, courteous, and they created wonderful flowers for our wedding. He also responded to our message immediately and was very organized. He helped us stay within our budget by making very helpful suggestions for different flowers, types of displays, and other details. His flowers were very fresh, gorgeous and the designs were just as we had asked. On the day of the wedding, he and his staff arrived on time (despite a long drive to our location) and immediately went to work distributing the centerpieces and other flowers. I could not have been happier. They definitely went the extra mile for us.

Casey at Martin Roberts Design was Top notch, out of all the vendors I dealt with this company is the best. He worked within my budget to create an amazing result. I would recommend him hands down to accomplish an amazing experience.

I had a wonderful experience with Martin Robers. Casey at Martin Roberts is incredibly knowledgable and very responsive - he always got back to me right away (usually within 24 hours), which is invaluable when planning a destination wedding. Even though I never met Casey before the wedding day and communicated only via phone / email, he understood my vision and executed it flawlessly. He also helped me work through alternative options, when my vision didn't quite align with my budget. I would highly recommend Martin Roberts to anyone planning a wedding in Kauai!

FLowers were great, fragrant, beautiful! They matched the theme perfectly, and it wasn't all that expensive!
