John Pierre's Studio Maui

My bride Loree and I had arranged (well, let's say Loree had) all of the wedding plans from our home on Vancouver Island and had never met John before. He did however come recommended by a relative of a good friend of ours so we felt fairly comfortable. Once Loree had contacted John and we had looked at his website, she felt very much at ease and his confident and easy going nature made her feel great about the decision. Once we got to the beach for the wedding ceremony, John was already quite prepared and after a brief introduction we started the ceremony. John worked his magic and we hardly noticed him moving around us. We had no idea how many incredible pictures he had taken of our special occasion until we received the disk from him and got to have a look for ourselves (which I might add was available to us only a short time later). When Loree and I started looking at the pictures on the large screen TV in our rented condo, we were completely BLOWN AWAY! The quality of the pictures and the amazing shots were magnificent!! We have since put some of the pictures on our facebook page and our friends and family have been equally impressed. We would wholeheartedly recommend John as a perfect choice for anyone looking to have their wedding (or any other occasion for that matter) photography done here in Maui. We used John Pierre's Studio for our recent wedding in Kapalua, Maui; the quality and range of pictures was amazing! The photographer makes you feel comfortable and is extremely easy to work with. John's experience shines through in every picture and he is able to capture all your special moments. The level of professionalism and service is exceptional and I would highly recommend using John Pierre's if your in need of a top photographer.

John made our special day even more special. He was friendly, funny, and most important, took amazing pictures. My bride and I had such a hard time narrowing down our favorite pictures that we decided to buy all of them digitally on CD. John is very prompt and professional. I'd highly recommend him. All five stars because thats what kind of service I got. We were married in October and had a wedding coordinator who recommended John. I will admit this was a whole new experience book a fairly expensive and important service without previously meeting. We traveled from WI to Hawaii and they is no way to do the typical "meeting" before the wedding in the case. John sent me a great email before had assuring me of his experience and put me at ease knowing the I had chosen the right photographer to capture our big day. On the day fo the wedding I felt happy, unstressed, and like I could relax and enjoy the wedding while he did what he does best. He had an assistant who got amazing candid shots while he let us have fun and take relaxed shot as well as gorgeous and vibrant naturally posed shots. Completely professional but not uptight or uncomfortable in how he works or does business. The pictures were up for viewing quickly and ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. We still keeping looking at them over and over and I know we will enjoy them for so many years to come. You have alot of choices on the island and everything seems to cost a little more in Hawaii. I highly recommend you make room in your wedding budget to fit John in. His photography and services were well worth my time and money and I could not be happier.

John was referred to us by my friend who had used his services. He is amazing!! Our wedding photos are beyond our expectations, our album is gorgeous! John is so great to work with and so creative. I had so much fun on our wedding day taking photos before and after the ceremony. He captured beautiful moments during our ceremony and we never saw him. He is great working with families and getting the great traditional shots as well as fun candid shots. I highly recommend John, you will not be disappointed.

Amazing photographer!

By far, the most AMAZING wedding pictures I have ever seen! I loved working with John! he was fantastic! He captured my wedding better than I ever could have imagined. With weddings, as I have recently learned, the day goes by so quickly. It is such a great feeling to have such incredible pictures to look back on and spark memories of the day. I would HIGHLY recommend John to any and every Bride! He is the best! Everything about working with him was perfect! Love it, love the pictures! I am a very very happy bride!

John was absolutely amazing...... not only was he punctual, easy to work with and extremely talented but he was quiet invisible at times - you never knew he was there clicking away. John is a great photographer. He took amazing pictures of my wedding day and he was great to work with. He captured some candid shots which I thought were truly special and am happy to have them as memories. He is responsive and was receptive to clients' needs.
