JJ Bistro and French Pastry

French Chef JJ is a true artist-- creative and professional. We wanted an original wedding cake that incorporated mochi (sweet rice cakes traditionally used to celebrate New Year's in Japan) in the design. When we explained this to JJ, he ran with the idea and quickly made a sketch. Chef said he loves to create cakes that are personalized. My fiance was sold in a heart beat! I've never seen anyone so excited about a cake before! The cake was delicious and we had several comments from our guests about how it was the best cake they've ever tasted! The only drawback was that the counter help/ person who usually answered the phone at the store was not very well informed about our order or what was going on. She was difficult to communicate with, but Chef JJ himself was the BEST!!! It was a little pricey ($500 for 4 tiers) but was worth it if you want a once-in-a-lifetime cake!!!
