Kahu Renee is a wonderful, personable, and special minister to have as an officiant. We were coming into our wedding without knowing where or what time to get married and she really helped by guiding us through to the day of our wedding, finding a location and time of day, from forming the wedding itself. She helped make it the most beautiful, special, and spiritual experience. We couldn't have asked for anything better. It was perfect! Our only sadness was we didn't get to have more time with this beautiful soul. Thank you and many blessings to you Kahu Renee Pomaikai Gongob!

In planning my destination wedding in Hawaii, I wanted to find an officiant who was not only warm and friendly, but also knew/understood the traditions and spirit of Hawaii. I came across Kahu Renee Pomaika'i and was so thrilled I found her! From the very beginning she was extremely responsive and answered all of our questions. She was very pleasant to work with and incorporated the essence of the islands into a truly unique ceremony. All of our guests expressed how much they enjoyed the ceremony program and how it was different than other traditional weddings they had attended. Kahu Pomaika'i really added a one of a kind touch to our wedding day and I will forever be grateful!

We were truly blessed to have Kahu Pomakai'i perform our wedding ceremony! Her energy is calm and loving and that came through in our ceremony. We were able to customize every aspect to fit exactly what we had envisioned our ceremony to be. For us we wanted some traditional aspects but also wanted to include Hawaiian traditions as well. And with Kahu Pomakai's suggestions,the outcome was perfect! Not only were we blessed to have her perform our ceremony, but now we are blessed with a new friend!

Kahu Pomaikai was so sweet and helpful. She kept us calm and everything went right on track. Many of our friends and family had not seen a Hawaiian ceremony, and everyone said it was amazingly beautiful and heartfelt. Mahalo Kahu Pomaikai.

We loved working with Kahu Pomaika'i. From the moment we met her at the Bridal Expo a year before our wedding, there was something special about her. She has this calming and very pleasant aura about her. She invited us to a ho'oponopono that summer and we just knew we wanted her to give us our blessing for our same-sex ceremony. When the day finally came, everyone commented on how great she was, and that our wedding ceremony was the best they had ever attended, and Kahu Pomaika'i had a part in that, of course.

We cannot express how amazing our ceremony was in Hau'ula mostly because of Kahu and her presence. The day before the wedding, it had been pouring rain, and although we knew that either way, rain or shine, we would've been happy just to be getting married, we were blessed with an amazing day, and believe this was brought on by the positive energy from family, friends, and Kahu. Kahu has a wonderful spirit that permeates through every part of the ceremony. She took the time to bless all of our leis, was professional in all she did, recommended an amazing group of musicians to play for our ceremony and wedding (even did hula). It was truly one of the best days of our lives. The only thing I wish was that she and her sons could have stayed for the reception!! Mahalo, mahalo, mahalo and Aloha. You made our wedding absolutely beautiful and filled with the aloha spirit that we love so much!

Kahu Pomaika'i performed our wedding ceremony with traditional Hawaiian elements. She did the most amazing job and far exceeded any of our expectations. Many of our family and friends told us it was the most perfect ceremony they have ever seen - even better than their own weddings! Kahu Pomaika'i arranged for ukulele players and singers which made the day even more amazing. I cannot say enough about how great she is and how fortunate we feel to have her perform our wedding ceremony.
