Cafe O'Lei Restaurants

Cafe O'Lei was amazing! They were everything we dreamed of in a catering service. The Food was raved about, their service was over the top friendly and they went above and beyond our expectations. I would recommend then to anyone. Also they are offer a great price.

Cafe O'Lei was wonderful! Donna the company owner was sweet, professional, and made us feel important. The food is to die for! We opted for 3 passed appetizers (coconut shrimp, lettuce wraps, and crabcakes) the island salad with papaya seed and Lilikoi vinaigrette, and then filet of beef or mac crusted mahimahi with bread and mashed potato's. We did a scouting trip and tasted numerous restaurants, we really liked Food For The Soul, Stella Blues, and Cafe O'Lei. We negotiated prices with all three and Cafe O'Lei gave us the lowest price so we went with them! They were our number one choice too because they do so many weddings we thought they really know what they are doing and everything went without a hitch pretty much! The only disappointment was we were supposed to get Okinawan Sweet Potato's (which are purple) and instead got regular potato's so very minor mix up. Overall, they are pricey but great!

Cafe O'Lei is not only delicious, but their service is superb!We had a tasting about a year before our wedding at Cafe O'Lei at The Dunes at Maui Lani. We met Dana there, and she was absolutely fabulous--so friendly and engaging. Not to mention the food, which was amazing! Since then, we communicated through email, and Cafe O'Lei was very responsive and organized. We had some last minute questions about desserts, and Dana was really helpful over the phone. Cafe O'Lei is also very flexible in terms of menu changes.On the wedding day, their service was fabulous. We had a buffet dinner, and the servers were kind enough to get me and my husband food, since we were busy with photos and saying hi to everyone. They even boxed up a couple of meals for us at the end (since we still hardly had time to eat!).Very highly recommended! I would definitely hire Cafe O'Lei again.

Cafe O'Lei is simply the best. I HIGHLY recommend them for catering. They did my wedding last week and everyone is still raving about the food and service. I met Dana a year ago & tasted her delicious food while on vacation. We were hooked! It was so delicious! Working out of state through our coordinator, I was concerned about how smoothly things would go but it was a breeze. They were professional, friendly and prompt. Marcy and her crew couldn't have been better. EVERYTHING I wanted or needed was taken care of it. It was perfect!

I used Cafe O'Lei catering for my wedding on 3/28/11. I worked with a wedding coordinator, so I did not deal with them directly with the catering department to book them. With that being said, the food was excellent! We went with a plated dinner and we gave everyone the choice of the beef tenderloin, macadamian encrusted mahi mahi and the chicken piccata. None of our guests ordered the chicken, but I tried both the mahi mahi and the beef and both were really good. The food was hot and the service was also excellent. I would highly recommend them.

Our wedding food was amazing! Everyone told us it was the best they have had. People had a choice of steak, Ahi Tuna, Chicken or Eggplant. We also had 3 passed appetizers and a salad to start. Amazing! It was a bit pricey, but pretty typical for HI as far as I can tell and the wait staff and chef were amazing. My guests even called the chef out to thank him. I wouldn't have changed a thing.

Cafe O'Lei Restaurants was simply put the very best that you could ask for. You will be very happy and pleased with this choice. We were so happy with the choice we made prior the wedding going with the Alfresco Dinner buffet. We had (80) people come to the island with us for our wedding. When the reception came the Cafe O'lei people went above and beyond with their service. The food was just simply as many of our guest still say. "The best meal they had while they were on the island" Fantastic! One of our guest had a child with severe food allergies when asked for Information The owner and chef came out directly to the table and spoke with them personally. I thought this to be a great touch of class on their part. Your guest will have a choice of Shrimp, Steak, Chicken and Fish all with great flavors. We paid $73 per person which includes the 20% mark up from White Orchid Weddings. They mark everything up 20% if you are having them handle your wedding. If we had gone thru Cafe O'lei directly it would have been $56 per plate and that includes the two appetizers per person that we ordered. Even at the higher price form WOW Cafe O'lei was so worth having handle our wedding. We highly recommend their service. It was money well spent! Thank you again Cafe O'lei!

They were very generous with their portions. The taste was not excellent but very good. My favorite was their coconut shrimp, which was good: crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. You can go taste it as it's on their regular menu as well.Most of the staff was friendly but there was a few who didn't seem happy to be there. All in all they worked really hard to get our business. Kudos for them!

Cafe O lei is an excellent choice for catering for any event. Not only were they professional they were very easy to work with and attended to all of our needs. They referred us to other great vendors, and on the day of the wedding they arrived early to set-up, were very attentive to our guests, and made sure everyone had food, drinks, and anything else they might need. After the reception they stayed to clean up everything so we wouldn't have to worry about anything. I 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer for their event! AAA+++

I would recomend these guys to any bride. I was in a bind, my previous caterer had canceled on me and they pulled it together with the best food in less than a month.

We worked with Dana for our Maui wedding and the food and service was fabulous. They did our "backyard" reception to perfection. Dana provided all of the help with setting the tables and offered a bar/bartender. She also had lots of recommendations for people to use for venues, flowers, videography, etc. The food was incredible and she was very flexible with the offerings. Hands-down the best caterer to use for relaxed, professional and very flexible catering service!
