Hawaii cake designer Rick Reichart's unique and artful wedding cakes, birthday cakes, sculpted cakes and celebration cakes have generated a loyal following since cakelava opened on Oahu in 2005. All cakes and fillings are made from scratch and designed by Rick, a nationally recognized cake artist with 20 years experience in L.A., Seattle, and Hawaii.  cakelava's designs are regularly featured in top wedding magazines and websites around the country.  Rick has competed on Food Network's "Challenge:  Spongebob Birthday Cakes" and is making his teaching debut in Canada in 2011.
